Perhaps you are already drawn to the potential of medicinal plants, but you are afraid to practice because you lack the foundational knowledge. Becoming a herbalist involves time, patience, devotion, and direction. We commit to training mindful herbalists with an in-depth understanding of medicine and holistic practice, providing high-quality, comprehensive education in herbal medicine from a professional, broad perspective. The Herbalist Practice Course blends field training with face-to-face classes in real-world scenarios. 

The core of the program is the study of Holism, Herbalism, and Natural Therapies, while the real-time Herbalist Practice lets you explore Practical techniques and Herbal preparations through workshops and activities. The aim of this Course is to transmit the ideal knowledge and right intentions for preparing the individual for further inner work with the guidance of plants according to wisdom and traditions. We will explore jungle herbal remedies, first-aid herbals, professional tincturing, medicated creams, essential oils and soap making, and medicinal mushroom elixirs and standardised preparations, to name a few. During your stay, you will also have access to a variety of academic sources that have been gathered to support your studies independently. Our aim is to help grow the resilience of the herbal community and ensure students develop the basic skills to succeed and stay inspired.

Applications: open year-round

Program: Theoretical classes are normally held in the morning, while practical work and activities take place in the afternoon. Forest trips and foraging times are scheduled according to the weather. Extra hours are dedicated to the Final Assessment and Tutoring. The training also includes cacao preparation and other rituals.

Food: mainly vegetarian, delicious homemade food (vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free meals can be tailored on request)

Accommodation:  private house with shared bathroom 

Facilities: meditation space, forest paths, gardens, a lab for practical work, classroom.

INCLUSIONS: food (3 meals per day), accommodation in a private house with a shared bathroom, theoretical lessons, practical work, forest trips, workshops, field training, all the educational material in PDF  format, the Printed Diploma, personal advice, meditation and ceremonies, use of the facilities at the Centre and everything listed under the program.

• • Fees do not include: transfers and airline tickets.

• • Spare time: students may use their extra time to explore the forest and the surroundings, perform artistic activities, go hiking or request tutoring. The course includes a half-day off to reach the nearby village and visit local projects.
